At the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), GAC Motor Philippines, led by Astara Philippines, redefined mobility with the public debut of its flagship plug-in hybrid MPV, the M8 PHEV.
With the theme ‘Innovate the Drive – GAC’s Road to Electrification,’ the brand is paving the way for smarter, more sustainable journeys for Filipino drivers, combining innovation, sophistication, and eco-conscious design.
The M8 PHEV drew attention from showgoers on opening day with its bold styling, spacious interior, and refined plug-in hybrid powertrain. Positioned for families and professionals seeking both luxury and efficiency, the M8 PHEV is expected to launch in the Philippine market by the third quarter of 2025, with a projected price below PHP 4.3 million.
