Not many automakers would consider 400 sales over eight years something to celebrate, but Bugatti isn’t most automakers. Bugatti recently sold its 400th Veyron. With production limited to just 450 units overall, that means only 50 more cars will be sold before this supercar legend leaves showrooms for good. The milestone car was a Legend ‘Jean-Pierre Wimille’ Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. That means it’s a roofless car (Grand Sport) with high-speed modifications taken from the hardtop Veyron Super Sport (Vitesse). It’s also part of Bugatti’s “Legend” series of special editions that honor notable people from the company’s past.
