LaFerrari sightings have just recently begun cropping up, and a Munich-based purveyor of exotic vehicles already claims to have one in its inventory. If you’re the sort to sneer at 950 hp, the same dealership is selling an Agrera R, too (that’s 1115 hp of Speed Racer-inspired monstrosity from the twisted mind of Christian von Koenigsegg). All this slippery carbon will cost you roughly $4.73M for the pair. Source: Road & Track
ONE HAPPY POLICEMAN
A McLaren 12C Spider serving as a police patrol car has been unveiled this weekend at 2014 Autosport International in Birmingham, UK. Towards the end of last year the famous Dubai police added another expensive model to its growing fleet, a McLaren 12C, and now the police in UK have received a similar gift but this time it’s the Spider version. The 240,000 GBP supercar will be used by the Central Motorway Group officers in the Midlands and has been offered by a local McLaren dealer.

THIS CAR WILL TURN YOU GREEN WITH ENVY
SRT is adding a new Grand Touring (GT) package to the 2014 Viper lineup—as well as a new hand-painted Stryker Green color that’s bound to turn heads, if the unmistakable sound of the 640-horsepower V-10 and exotic shape aren’t enough already. The Viper GT, which will be shown for the first time beginning this week at the Detroit Auto Show, will include Nappa leather seats, as well as the five-mode stability control system with two-mode Bilstein Damptronic Select suspension—both items that had been previously offered only in the Viper GTS. In all, the 2014 SRT Viper Grand Touring could prove a compelling package that provides some of the ride, handling, and livability benefits of the GTS, without its high sticker price.

Volkswagen teasing its Beetle Dune concept
Showing “potential for a new production version of the sportiest Beetle,” the Dune concept is raised two inches in ride height and wears a more rugged-looking body treatment. On the roof, a ski rack holding a pair of skis hints at one potential use of a more go-anywhere Beetle. One thing that’s not on the equipment list, however, is all-wheel drive. The Dune is based around the R-Line’s running gear, meaning it gets a punchy 210-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder, six-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission, and front-wheel drive. VW’s XDS electronic differential locking system aids traction on the front axle.
