The hype for the new 2015 Nissan Navara continues, as the Japanese car company released another teaser video before the pickup truck’s launch tomorrow, June 11.

Latching on the tagline “premium life on board,” the interior cabin of Nissan’s new ride was shown in the footage, promising to be spacious, comfortable and convenient.

Noticeable features include a medium-sized touchscreen display, dual zone climate control system, three-spoke steering wheel with built-in controls, along with a pair of conventional dials separated by a digital screen providing useful information. In the lower section of the central dashboard there seems to be a power outlet along with the 4WD selector knob.

The video also shows Nissan will offer the 2015 Navara/Frontier with leather upholstery, an automatic transmission and A-pillar-mounted handles, while higher-end versions will also benefit from silver and chrome touches.

“Conservative” Lambo Still Fetches for More than P50M

When it comes to cars, Filipinos are known for flashy, ostentatious designs. Oftentimes for Pinoys, porma even comes first before performance.

So perhaps only few will understand why one would pay $1.2 million (around P52 million) for a 1975 Lamborghini Countach LP400 “Periscopica.” Sold during a Bonhams auction, this ride is considered iconic, as this is an early model part of the initial batch of 150 cars that received the Periscopica name.

As years passed by, Lamborghini applied more and more scoops and vents onto the Countach which is why many consider the first cars to be the most beautiful. Production was conducted between 1974 and 1990 during which 2,042 units were made and this particular car was built in 1975 and as you can see it looks like it just came off the assembly line.

Wearing an attractive Blue Tahiti paint scheme, it’s the first Countach to break the 1M USD mark and for good reason since it looks exceptional. It was driven for only 10,252 miles (16,500 km) and even though the chassis number doesn’t match the engine, former Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni says during the Countach’s early days of manufacturing it wasn’t unusual to install an engine that wasn’t in the production order. Balboni says there are “known reasons to consider engine number 1120070 [as] originally fitted by the manufacturer in chassis 1120066.”

Dig or Diss: Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato

Is that a wide-mouthed Lambo we’re seeing?

At first glance, you might not recognize this as the stereotypical Lamborghini — not sporting its usual fiery red color, and its front fascia is not what we’re familiar with.

Called the Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato, this ride was commissioned by collector Albert Spiess. It is essentially a heavily customized Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 — so it wasn’t made from scratch (!) that was unveiled recently at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Because it was was very well received, this supposedly one-off beauty might evolve into a limited-run production model.

Its carbon fiber body shows off a fairly interesting design although some might say the front fascia sends a bit of a Spyker vibe. Other design highlights include a double bubble roof with a built-in and functional air scoop, along with side intakes derived from Zagato’s 1996 Lamborghini Diablo-based Raptor concept.

If green-lighted for production, Lamborghini and Zagato will probably make only a handful of 5-95s and needless to say each one will cost an arm and a leg.
