DIG OR DISS: Infiniti Q50 Eau Rogue

This is the only shot Infiniti has released so far, but the new LEDs and carbon fiber chin and cheekbones are readily apparent. The fastest Q50 now is the hybrid, with a 3.5-liter V6 and electric motor putting out 360 horses. Infiniti says it’s named the Eau Rogue after the famous Spa-Francorchamps Formula One track corner, probably because it’s “F1-inspired” in the way most of the company’s cars seem to be these days.

JUST BAD LUCK?

Suzuki is describing the Kizashi as a “very unlucky car” which has slim chances of receiving a direct successor in the future. The Japanese marque says Kizashi failed to be a success due to poor timing since the car was introduced to the market just before the global financial crisis which started affecting United States in 2009. At that moment there were a few debates about whether to launch the car or not and in the end they decided to start selling it since Suzuki “made a big investment to develop” the model.

Not many automakers would consider 400 sales over eight years something to celebrate, but Bugatti isn’t most automakers. Bugatti recently sold its 400th Veyron. With production limited to just 450 units overall, that means only 50 more cars will be sold before this supercar legend leaves showrooms for good. The milestone car was a Legend ‘Jean-Pierre Wimille’ Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. That means it’s a roofless car (Grand Sport) with high-speed modifications taken from the hardtop Veyron Super Sport (Vitesse). It’s also part of Bugatti’s “Legend” series of special editions that honor notable people from the company’s past.

If we’re talking about purely polarizing lunacy, the Lamborghini Egoista takes the cake, the ice cream, the brownies, and the cookies for 2013. The car is for those who are only concerned with “me, me, me.” Naturally, it has one seat and an appearance that people will be talking about for pretty much the rest of forever.
