After Nissan announced that it will rollout a self-driving car by 2020, Volvo has upped the ante and said it plans to have its “Drive Me” program runnning with 100 autonomous cars by 2017. The Volvos will be distributed in Sweden to specially selected drivers whose commentary and diagnostic info will be collected by the manufacturer. Volvo isn’t undertaking this program alone. It’s working with the Swedish government to make traveling “safer, smoother, and less polluted,” as well as revolutionizing infrastructure.

French automaker Bugatti has launched a new test drive program in North America that the company says is aimed at “ultra-high net worth individuals” and “enthusiasts of exclusive super sports cars.” No, they don’t mean your average internet forum enthusiast but rather individuals with a number of supercars already among their collection. The program allows qualified prospects to drive the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse on closed roads and airport runways, where they can take the car to its limits and receive tips from Bugatti’s own test drivers. When they’re not driving, the guests enjoy five-star hospitality and opportunities to network with other participants in the program.

The Pagani Huayra is a rare breed — we know it exists, yet no one has really had the opportunity to spend time reviewing it for the masses. XCar has stepped forward to fill that void, and they did so with Italy as the beautiful backdrop. The 13 minute video, now available for public viewing in YouTube, shows you more of the Pagani Huayra than ever before and the host reviews the ride artistic, technological, and emotional features in an accent that makes it sound more important than if we were to do it.
