Tesla Debuts the Model Y and the Model 3 in the Philippines

Tesla’s mission of creating a global ecosystem of sustainability is not yet over, as the business giant made two significant developments last November 8.

First is the grand opening of their flagship store in Uptown Parade, Taguig, aptly called the Tesla Experience Centre, showcasing the latest that the car manufacturer has to offer. Second is the launch of two of their sought-after vehicles, The Model 3 and the Model Y.

Revealed at Uptown Mall, BGC, last Friday, the two vehicles are just making their Philippine debut. And the Turbo Zone crew’s reaction (along with the other car enthusiasts in attendance) was living proof that these are indeed two of the most anticipated vehicles this year.

VinFast Officially Launches VF 7 for Sale in the Philippines

VinFast has officially announced pricing and opened reservations for its five-seater VF 7 electric SUV during the 12th Philippines Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), marking the third VinFast vehicle available in the Philippine market after the VF 5 and VF 3 models. This launch also underscores VinFast’s commitment to advancing green transportation in the Philippines and expanding its diverse electric vehicle offerings across Southeast Asia.

In the Philippines, the VF 7 will be available in two versions: Base and Plus, offering a variety of options tailored to meet the needs of different customers. Prices range from PHP 1,470,000 (battery subscription) to PHP 1,760,000 (battery included) for the Base version, and from PHP 1,730,000 (battery subscription) to PHP 2,380,000 (battery included) for the Plus version. The battery subscription plans starting at just PHP 6,300 per month, allowing for cost optimization based on travel needs.

Volkswagen PH’s new Jetta, Golf GTS now in dealerships

Volkswagen Philippines, the #1 European car brand in the country in 2016, has recently reported a unit sales increase of 133 percent for the first half of 2017 compared to the same period last year.

The exclusive Philippine importer and distributor of the German-based automaker sold over a cumulative 566 Volkswagen vehicles to buyers from January to end-June this year, compared to the 243 units sold in the same period in 2016, further reinforcing its bid to become the number one European car brand for two consecutive years.

The more-than-double sales output of Volkswagen Philippines has been attributed to robust sales performances across its model lineup.
