WE WOULDN’T MIND RIDING IN THIS!
Famous Parts has introduced their new Mercedes McLaren SLR Roadster. Modestly revised, the SLR has been equipped with a KW adjustable suspension and 20- / 21-inch ADV.1 5.2 MV2 SL wheels with a brushed silver finish. The company also plans on installing a tailor-made titanium exhaust system but there’s no word on whether or not it will result in any performance gains. As a refresher, the SLR features a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine that develops 626 HP (460 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 332 km/h (206 mph).

DRIVING A GOOD CAUSE
The first retail 2015 Ford Mustang will be auctioned for charity at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona on January 18, 2014. All the proceeds will go to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) — the country’s leading global organization funding type-one diabetes research. During the auction, Ford will also offer its fans the chance to ride in and drive its best models in the 2014 lineup and its resident performance models, like the Shelby GT500, Focus ST and Fiesta ST.

ANOTHER SUPERCAR IN THE MAKING
James Glickenhaus of the Ferrari fame is ready to take on a new project, and it will be the first machine created under the SCG emblem. This is James’ own brand, and it stands for Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus. The new car is called simply the SCG 003, and it’s just been teased a bit on Facebook. The early word is that the car will weigh in at just 1,600 pounds and be powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Rumor has it that this should be good for 500 horsepower, which is more than a lot considering how light the vehicle should be. Let’s see if this lives up to the hype.
