This new facility, strategically located in the heart of Mandaluyong City, marks the second BYD dealership under the management of Iconic Dealership Inc., the dealer arm of ACMobility.
The official opening of this facility, which is part of the 25 BYD dealerships that will be operational by the end of this year, highlights the Global #1 New Energy Vehicle brand’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Philippine electric vehicle (EV) market and offering top-tier service to EV owners across the country.

ACMobility, the mobility solutions arm of the Ayala Group and a leader in electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, is set to expand its charging network across Makati—one of the leading sustainable cities in Metro Manila. By Q1 2025, Makati will host 74 fully operational charging points across 18 locations, including offices, malls, condominiums, and more. This expansion aims to provide residents and visitors easy access to state-of-the-art charging stations as Makati solidifies its role as a central hub for electric mobility.
“ACMobility is excited to enhance Makati’s mobility infrastructure with a comprehensive charging network, ensuring convenient and efficient solutions for residents and visitors,” said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, Chief Executive Officer of ACMobility. “As a key city for our EV ecosystem expansion, Makati exemplifies the potential of electric mobility in urban centers, and we are dedicated to meeting its evolving needs toward a greener future.”
Showing full support towards Valenzuela City’s environmental goals, BYD Cars Philippines (in collaboration with ACMobility) signed a contract with the city to provide them with 41 BYD Dolphin electric vehicles (EVs). These units will be deployed to the city’s police force, making Valenzuela City the first Local Government Unit (LGU) to have an EV police fleet, and the largest one in the country.
This sustainable mobility initiative by the city will provide round-the-clock security coverage while supporting Valenzuela’s shift to cleaner technologies. It also aligns with the city’s sustainability goals and complies with the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act and Republic Act No. 1285, which promote EV adoption in government operations.
