The Green Route: V-GREEN and Etreego Setting Up for the Development of VinFast Charging Portals in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam

V-GREEN has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with eTreego, a Taiwanese green energy company, to significantly expand VinFast electric vehicle charging station infrastructure. This partnership aims to install 100,000 charging portals in VinFast’s three key Southeast Asian markets, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam, underscoring V-GREEN’s commitment to building a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem and meet the growing demand for green transformation across Southeast Asia.

Both parties will actively research and work towards strategic goals, including building and operating 100,000 franchised charging portals for VinFast electric vehicles by 2030. Specifically, in the second quarter of 2025, eTreego will deploy 200 pilot charging portals in Vietnam, before expanding into VinFast’s two key international markets: Indonesia and the Philippines.

VinFast officially announced its first electric vehicles for the Indian market at the event. The Vietnamese Nasdaq-listed automaker introduced two all-electric B-segment and C-segment SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, demonstrating its commitment to the market with high-quality, smart, and modern products.

A Podium Finish: VinFast Secures Top Market Position in Vietnam

Proving that they are indeed one of the fastest and best-selling car brands of the year, VinFast recently announced that it has delivered more than 11,000 electric vehicles (EVs) to domestic customers in October, garnering a total sales of over 51,000 EVs since the beginning of the year. This is in line with one of their goals of contributing to the green transition of Vietnam’s transportation sector.

Even after their impressive sales back in September 2024, VinFast never slowed down in October by delivering more than 11,000 EVs—a 21% increase over the previous month. Simply put, the VF 3 and VF 5 were the top-selling models, with nearly 5,000 EVs and over 2,600 EVs sold, respectively.

VinFast Officially Launches VF 7 for Sale in the Philippines

VinFast has officially announced pricing and opened reservations for its five-seater VF 7 electric SUV during the 12th Philippines Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), marking the third VinFast vehicle available in the Philippine market after the VF 5 and VF 3 models. This launch also underscores VinFast’s commitment to advancing green transportation in the Philippines and expanding its diverse electric vehicle offerings across Southeast Asia.

In the Philippines, the VF 7 will be available in two versions: Base and Plus, offering a variety of options tailored to meet the needs of different customers. Prices range from PHP 1,470,000 (battery subscription) to PHP 1,760,000 (battery included) for the Base version, and from PHP 1,730,000 (battery subscription) to PHP 2,380,000 (battery included) for the Plus version. The battery subscription plans starting at just PHP 6,300 per month, allowing for cost optimization based on travel needs.
